Short Tufting Workshop

General

Do you want to get acquainted with tufting and create something you're proud of? During the short tufting workshop at Just Art Bos in Leeuwarden, you'll learn the basics of tufting: you'll receive clear explanations, practice on a practice cloth first, and then get started on your own design.
This workshop is perfect as a creative activity with friends, family, a staff outing, or as a gift for someone who loves to create.

Finishing options

We also offer the option to turn it into a wall hanging, you can have it mounted on a canvas (24x30cm) or have a D-ring attached to the back.

For the workshop, we will finish the rug for you, because of the glue's drying time. You can choose to use it as a small rug or as a wall hanging.

For finishing the wall hanging, we have the following options:

- D-rings (€10,-)

- Canvas fixed size of 24x30 cm (€15,-)

- Floating frame fixed size of 24x30 cm or 30x30 cm (€25,-)

Good to know, start thinking about what you'd like to create, that will save a lot of time during the workshop. You will be working with 30x30cm, please keep this in mind regarding many small details (see photos for reference).
Participation in the workshop is possible from 14 years old, under 18 years old it is mandatory to bring a paying adult. Please note that tufting is a physical activity; if you have problems with, for example, your muscles, it is important to carefully consider whether you can sustain it.
